
Shih-Hsuan Hung received his Ph.D. in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics, from Oregon State University, USA, in 2024. He earned his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2016 and 2014, respectively. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Information Technology Innovation at NTUST.
He is currently an Assistant Professor at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, where he founded and leads the Visualization and Modeling Lab (VMLab). His research primarily focuses on computer graphics, with particular interests in scientific visualization, scientific simulation, and geometric modeling. His broader research interests also include computer vision and multimedia.
