Shih-Hsuan Hung earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Oregon State University, USA, in 2024. He received his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2016 and 2014, respectively. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he worked as a research assistant in the Information Technology Innovation department at NTUST.

Since 2024, Shih-Hsuan has been an assistant professor at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, where he established the Visualization and Modeling Lab (VMLab). His primary research interests lie in Computer Graphics, encompassing scientific visualization, information visualization, and geometric modeling. Additionally, his work extends to the domains of Computer Vision and Multimedia.
